Jewish Dick and Jane in Germany

TAGS:

I'm alarmed at the insouciance being exhibited on this Web site on the part of Jews visiting and considering staying in Germany. Let's get the facts straight. Germany is no new haven for you. Sorry, at the risk of boring absolutely everybody to tears, let me repeat myself:

According to a poll conducted by the European Union recently, in 2005, 65% of Germans consider Israel to be the greatest threat to world peace, ahead of Iran and North Korea. While we're at it, 69% of Austrians consider Israel to be the same. Don't fool yourself to think Israel doesn't mean you. When it comes to the subject of American Jews, things get very, very weird. I advise you read the German media itself. Mearsheimer/Walt's book on the "Israel-Zionist lobby" was a top seller in its German translation. I'm not even going to start with things I could say on the subject of the German media ...

Germany is the by far biggest European exporter to Achmadinejad's Iran. It is the largest European exporter of technology and machines to the Iranian mullahs.

Germany has found it expedient not to ban Al Manar in the country. Al Manar encounters no legal problem within Germany in broadcasting the "truth" about the Protocols of the Elders of Zion to Germany's numerous Arab recipients with satellite dishes. Al Manar is Hizbollah TV. Its contents in terms of politics tend heavily along the line of Jew-baiting.

Hizbollah itself operates legally in Germany. The unspoken agreement with the security people in Germany is that Hizbollah is not to do any "actions" within German borders. The German version of the FBI counts 900 active Hizbollah members, which means people who are actively recruiting other people. Israeli intelligence services estimate that number to be at least 4 to 5 times higher in reality. In Germany, Hizbollah actually plans actions against Israelis and Jews with impunity, owing to the fact it can operate legally, as witness a recent case of an Israeli Arab who was arrested a month or so ago and who had been studying in Germany and was recruited at the local German university to do "actions" in Israel.

While we're at it, let's turn to a more recent event: Students in Berlin protesting against cuts in the German education budget combined that protest with one they termed an "anti-capitalist" protest against, uh, capitalists; it got out of hand, got violent; they occupied the main administrative building of the Humboldt University and destroyed purposefully an exhibition about Jewish entrepreneurs in the years 1933-1945, while shouting "Screw Israel!" Maybe somebody could guess what the connection of Israel is with German-Jewish  businessmen of sixty-five years ago. These are the grandchildren of the ideologues of olden times, those elderly folks whom Jewish visitors might fancy themselves as being wary of encountering along the mean Munich and Berlin streets.

Don't be blithe, folks.
