Background: Grew up in Wodmere, in the Five Towns on Long Island, 2002 Moved out to Detroit, missing the "NY-groove" I formed an obscure sports group in an urban setting (Detroit) which plays an old (100 years) game called Petanque (boules).  Check out our club's website and find a Petanque group near you (they're all over the country/world).  New York has a great Petanque Club which plays in Washington Square Park.
