I'm liberal and international, speak several languages. I think the most international language is to pull down fences, open hearts and use our humour to link with one another across borders and differences!

I was born in New Zealand and raised in a socialist welfare state where materialism wasn't valued. We have a close family, my folks are survivors of the Holocaust -- one directly, one not. This history has richly imbued and informed my work which is slanted toward the issues of survival and also, being an outsider. So I have that unique perspective I guess. I studied in New York with some incredible acting teachers, delivered futons there and after a hit with Punch Me in the Stomach, a solo show with 36 characters about travelling to Poland with my father, I am currently interationally touring that and other shows. I'm based in Toronto and Auckland. Guest teach at Brown University. The thread through my work and experiences are via HUMOUR and love.
