I hail from outside Philadelphia and call both Pennsylvania and North Carolina my home.  I am studying Political Science and Communications at The University of Pittsburgh.  I obsessively follow the news, read too many gossip columns, and wish every day for a grand piano to appear in my apartment.  My work has been published in The Los Angeles Times.  I don't know what I want to do with my life; if I can get by on writing, I'll be a very happy girl.
