About Nancy Cuevas Guzman
I am a Sephardic Jew whose family came from Majorca and Curazao, and migrated to Lares, Puerto Rico. Lares is a tiny remote village in the mountains of Puerto Rico and has remained so since it's foundation in 1827. There was a Spanish Inquisition in Puerto Rico until the 1850s. My parents were born in Lares and I am the first of my family to be born a native of Los Angeles, California.
I have been on a world tour with a stop-over in Israel for 6 months in 2006, when I volunteered for the IDF, Sar-El. I returned to Israel again in July 2007 and have lived in Jerusalem for the past year.
I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Professional Photography and served in the US Army as a Still Photographic Specialist.
