About HananHarchol

Hanan Harchol was born in Kibbutz Kinneret, Israel and moved to the US at the age of two. He earned a BFA from The Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, and an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Hanan received a New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship and was featured in the book Jewish Art in America, by Prof. Matthew Baigell, Rowman and Littlefield Publishers, Inc., 2006. Hanan has exhibited his multimedia installations and screened his animations across the United States including at The Museum of Jewish Heritage and The Hebrew Union College Museum in New York, as well as at The Chicago Cultural Center. His animated pilot entitled “Hanan! Listen To Me!” was World Premiered at The Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film, and is currently being pitched as a series for television.
