About three years ago, I found out that my family fled Germany to the States to avoid persecution. Since it is my heritage, I have begun following the jewish lifestyle.(not eating pork, celebrating Hanukkah, just doing whatever I can. I want to make sure that my children don't forget why we are here in America, and to ensure that our family name does not leave the Jewish Community.
I am currently in the Marines, been here for 6 years, have a very supportive wife, she is due in Jan. Currently working on my degree.

In 2004, the day following my divorce from my first wife, I discovered that my great-grandparents had fled Germany to avoid persecution. Since that day, I have began to study Jewish Holidays, the culture, and as much as I can about the religon. I have quit eating pork, began to celebrate Hanukkah, and the various reasons why our Jewish people do the things we do. Since that fateful day, I have remarried to a very supportive wife who has assisted me in the "re-discovery" of myself.
