    we are a people of LAWS. We are not Christians . their religion is faith based. God is not at the center of what it means to be a jew. The laws and the application and evolution of those laws are what it means to be a jew. this bar- mitzvah boy is ripe for talmudic study. I hope his parents encourage the development of his beautiful mind.
