| Israeli Girls Are Warned Against ‘Sleeping With the Enemy’ | ||

High school girls in the Israeli town of Kiryat Gat are being warned not to become romantically involved with Bedouins, via a program run by a social worker named Chaim Shalom. A 10-minute film called Sleeping With the Enemy cautions girls that Bedouins may shower them with gifts and then leave them pregnant and alone, or refuse to allow them to return to their families after ending the relationship. 
Single Bedouin Men: like kyrptonite for Jewish girls?
Despite a message that smacks of racism, Bedouins seem happy to have the Jewish girls stay away. Bedouin mayor Talal al-Krenawi had this to say:
"It hurts our families just like it hurts the Jews. It causes a lot of difficult problems and internal conflicts which often end in violence…If there are children as a result of these relationships, it becomes a burden on our society. The difference is that we oppose this just like the Jews, but we never used racist expressions...a person is allowed to live with whomever he wants. In any case, one can oppose something without presenting racist opinions."
Classic case of bad spin? The Jews and Bedouins actually seem to agree on the issue, but somehow the Jews haven't been able to present their case in inoffensive terms. Here's an idea: Teach girls about unhealthy relationships in general, and offer them good skills for dealing with men and dating, instead of just saying, “don’t date Bedouins.” Need I remind people that not all Bedouins seduce girls and then leave them alone and pregnant?

I don't imagine that bedouin men have the same 21st century sense of equality that is pretty common in Israel.
Besides, Israeli chicks don't take any shit. So, I doubt the whole premise.

[The unforgiving desert...a few beduin tents stand next to the highway. A billboard advertising "Israeli Cosmetics" is printed alongside a sing saying "Gas". Within one tent, a group of Beduin mechanics sit and daydream whilst working on their car-like camels (or camel-like cars)...

...this is absolute nonsense - if residents of Kiryat Gat heard that Bedouin filmmakers were making films warning their young women to stay away from the lassies of KG, there would be an outcry, so why not now?

Sexual identities represent social constructs. Western "gay-ness" does not really exist in Middle Eastern cultures except within Israel, which is really a transplanted mixed Central and Eastern European Jewish society. As a fundamentally alien entity in the ME, the Zionist state hosts sexual identities that were already well-developed among German Jews and Eastern European ethnic Ashkenazim by the early 20th century.
Both groups have been active proselytizers for regendering Western society according to Yiddish models for at least the last 90 years.
As Columbia Professor Joseph Massad points out in Desiring Arabs, non-Westernized (and many Westernized) Arabs that engage in homoeroticism have no interest in the Yiddish regenderization program and generally reject Western homosexual identity, which Massad calls the Gay International.

Those are not the "sexy" Bedouins I have known....(in the photo)
I lived in Sinai and Israel and I know that many women are attracted to the Bedouins because they are handsome and sweet and helpful. They are down-to-earth and "smart" in an altogether different way. There are women in Jordan who are European married to Bedouins and happily living in Bedouin camps, raising children and living the simple life. The Bedouin men have a real sexiness about them and they are free about it. They are not the most religious people I have ever known....not hard core Muslim....just Muslim. They don't even bother to pray like all the Muslims I've known. I enjoyed being with these people after living in the stress of Jerusalem and the Ultra-Orthodox. I was so happy to chill out with the Bedouins. I can see how this happens to the girls. I personally would not date them, but I did notice some really cute ones.....not like the guys in that photo!

Yes yes, there are no muslim gays...Ahmadinejad and ThorsProvoni said so. Homosexuality is a Western concept that's why my lesbian behind is staying on this side of the world. Westernern culture is realy dangerous, the 3 years I lived in Belgium, one of the future Eurabian states, I dated a Marrocan girl, an Algerian girl and yes, an Iranian girl. I'm sure they were born to love penis and then all that Western stuff (a.k.a puberty) kicked in and they went lesbo on alllah.
