The decks
featured are hand painted by artist Shai and have been from coast to
coast, and more recently, reached international recognition.
Shai
was born in Israel and raised in California. There, he began painting
surfboards and got into the surfing and skateboarding community. After
years of painting on surfboards, Shai moved to NYC and began using his
artistic skills on giving life to blank skate decks and launching his
Deckyourself site. There, he creates custom, hand painted skate decks.
From dogs to surf themes, there is not much this artist can’t do.
As he continues to get more exposure, Deckyourself and Shai himself is becoming a household name across the world.
