Porking Sneaky Bastard Terrorists: Thursday’s Klatch

By Joey Kurtzman / December 7, 2006

Today’s klatch is beneath contempt. After three days of rarified discourse and a bit of dignified confessional the klatchers fall apart under the pressure of the question, “What’s the most upsetting thing someone’s ever said about your work?”

These five young titans of American lit shout praises to the use of “pork” as a verb, and Aaron Hamburger compares writing workshops to mutual masturbation. And as they discuss book critics, Elisa Albert inveighs against “sneaky bastard terrorists” while Karen Russell mutters something about “slowly porking them to death.” Unacceptable.

Kansas Kigali,

Joey

to mention the fact that when they consume said dead animal flesh they're also consuming all the terror and adrenaline that shot through that carcass at the very moment of its horrific and violent death at the hands of criminally mistreated immigrant workers!

    BZR!

That's no accident, Elisa. That pic was specifically chosen to show carnivores the sort of putrid bestial filth that pollutes their intestines and withers their soul. Nasty!

    Basar Zeh Ratzach!

Then you'd better avoid the current Heeb cover, Joey.   ;-)
