Hanan Harchol is an artist of many media: digital animation, classical guitar, painting… yet he somehow can’t seem to escape his father, who appears in one form or another in many of the artist’s works as a hilarious, sensitive, and above all human bearer of the world’s wisdom and folly. In this piece, “the Nuclear Physicist,” a character based on the artist’s father, discusses the perils of love and hormones with his young son.
