My work, if that's how you'd like to call it, is influenced mainly by my ordinary daily situations. Weird and funny transactions and interesting people are often the burst in my sketches. I carry my sketch book everywhere, so I can draw or write new ideas down. It also fits my cool nerdy image. Often in some point things get mixed up in my mind and the outcome is more surreal. Because I'm from Finland I can't deny that stress, darkness and alcohol wouldn't be big influences in everything I do. When I was younger I read ravenously comic books so I guess that still shows a lot too. Weird dreams, sarcasm and humor also got their own part in the soup. The usual way I do things is the same you can see in these pictures here. At first I draw with ink and often I use watercolors and different types of paper. Then I gather it all up with the help of the computer. I' m interested in different styles and ways of illustration and I also like try them. Mixing different medias together is something I like to do even more in the future, for example, animation is something I'm trying to figure out. So as an conclusion I want to try everything and meanwhile maybe save the world. At the moment I'm studying graphic design and working as a freelancer but I always try to find time to do my own projects too. More of my work you can see on my web-page www.coroflot.com/propjet.
