Iran Captive Standoff Continues
By Paul Berger / March 28, 2007It's the end of another tense day in the case of the 15 British sailors and marines who were captured by Iranian forces on Friday.
In typical British fashion Tony Blair has issued a stern if slightly understated threat to "ratchet up diplomatic and international pressure" to force Iran into freeing the prisoners. Freezing biilateral business certainly isn't going to be the clincher.
Meanwhile, the Iranians have paraded their captives on television and even have a televized admission from sailor Faye Turney that the British were in Iranian waters when they were captured. A claim that is vehemently denied by the British. (And they have satellite data to prove it.)

Good-bye, Jewcy readers. Have fun discussing marijuana parenting and Wicca, while militant Islamism threatens Israel, America and civilization as we know it. You are like Emperor Nero: fiddling while Rome burns.

Let’s not collectively be today’s Neville Chamberlain!

Or are you visitors only interested in articles on dead authors like Ayn Rand, or on why Jews should marry anyone else in the world *but* another Jew?
Iran’s leaders and other militant Islamists will destroy our way of life if they are not stopped NOW. With FORCE.
Tell your elected representatives. Come on, wake up!

No more diplomacy. No more U.N. debates. No more useless, unenforceable sanctions. The Iranian people doesn’t deserve this regime. (Nor do they have any say in it.) The world doesn’t deserve this regime. Let’s lob some conventional (NON-nuclear) missiles at the mullahs’ and presidents’ headquarters, then move all U.S. and allied troops from Iraq, where they’re serving no purpose, into Iran, and install a pro-Western (including pro-Israel) interim government, before terrorist factions have the chance to get started. The interim government should immediately ban all support of any terrorist group, Hezbollah or otherwise, cease all nuclear activity, draft a genuinely democratic constitution, and call monitored elections. Militant Islamist candidates and parties should be barred from running, just as in Turkey, and Germany with regard to Nazi-like parties. Once the new elected government is in place and the country is stable, all non-Iranian troops should leave. The Iranians and the world will be thankful.
