It was announced last night that this year's Harvard Hasty Pudding Award is going to Ben Stiller and Scarlett Johansson. I get why they chose Ben Stiller, but Scarlett? I can only fathom to guess that she appeals to the male members of the drama group there (well some anyway), but a "lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment," Johansson isn't there yet by a long shot. Did anyone else see "The Black Dahlia"?

Considering last year's female prize went to Halle Berry and the year before that, Catherine Zeta-Jones, we smell bombshell criteria in the air. And to think that Ethel Merman and Katherine Hepburn were past recipients…
