With all the religious rhetoric being thrown around this election season, we voters need a guide to understanding the volatile relationship between religion and politics in America. Fortunately for us, Dr. Jacques Berlinerblau, Associate Professor of Jewish Civilization at Georgetown, has written the informative and often humorous Thumpin’ It: The Use and Abuse of the Bible in Today’s Presidential Politics.
