  She's certainly found her place in life. I mean, if I could rationalize saying the things she does, then I'd say she has a pretty good deal of it. She's attractive (enough), intelligent (enough), she's raking in boatloads of cash, and she's got an army (literally!) of fawning young ROTC boys who are more than pleased to find that there are still women who realize how important it is to stand behind their man and their nation.

  Ann Coulter was a senior in my high school when I was a freshman.  My brother was in the same year as her; they had several classes together.  According to my brother, she wasn't particularly outlandish back then.  Much of what she says and does now is probably shtick for attention, money, etc.
