Fudgie the Whale

OK, I'm watching the Office and one of the guys says three words that are magic to my ears...Fudgie the Whale!

Most of you who live in the Northeast knows from whence it came...Carvel.  Until moving to Texas, I thought Carvel and his ice cream cookie greatness was all over.  Until, my wife-then girlfriend asked the most horrid of questions "What's Carvel?"

What? You mean, there is no Carvel in Texas?  What the hell do you goyim eat there?  She had me fooled when she talked about brisket.  Its not how grandma made it.  Ah, brisket is great in any fashion.

Back to my point...Tom Carvel's voice is etched into my memory.  Like phlegm and unfiltered Camels.  For some reason, it always sounded comforting to me though.

And let's not get started on Cookie Puss.

Carvel in Texas!

HI I saw your comment and Carvel is in Texas! I actually work for Carvel Corp and we sell our ice cream cakes (not fudgie or cookie sorry) in a few supermarkets! We are in Tom Thumb and Randall's Safeway Divisions. There are also several Franchise Stores that may have Fudgie! On our website you can click on "franchise locations" enter your zipcode and it will tell you the closest location. I hope you find one near you or heck, it's worth the drive!

No way!

Kelley...first, what a small small world it is.  Second, thank you and darn you at the same time!  I'm on a serious health mission and you open up the curtain to show me there are Carvel's in Texas!  ARRRGGGGHHHH

I travel to Dallas all the time and will be relocating there next year.  In matter of fact I'll be there this week.  I am definitely going!  Now the conundrum I face is...flying saucer or soft serve cone?
