DAILY SHVITZ
Hitch on The Daily Show

What's most interesting about the still very recent reception of god is Not Great is how every liberal worth disagreeing with -- on fighting Islamism or what to do about Iraq -- thinks religion is an emollient force for good. What might a state free of worship of either a metaphysical or earthly godhead look like, and wouldn't we all rush to try and live there?
