And once Bobby Fischer won his first U.S. Championship - at age 15 - and began regular international play, it was obvious that the Soviet players would intentionally draw matches against one another, sometimes after 15 or 20 moves with much chess to be played, so that they - as a group - could dominate the top dozen or so world rankings spots. And when you've got twenty Soviets, a Dane, and a Spaniard competing to challenge for the World's Championship it was far too easy for Moscow to decide whom the next Challenger, and thus Champion, would be.

 Every modern chess player who can actually eke out a living playing the game owes everything they are to Bobby Fischer.

Down here in SW Florida, where daytime highs reach eleventy thousand degrees Fahrenheit, I can be found on top of buildings  - where the temperatures are usually about fifteen hundred degrees, again in Fahrenheit, hotter - installing large commercial broadband satellite systems. After I vomit once it gets better.

Actually it's not that bad; I like the dizzy lightheaded feeling, mostly.
