Clip: Bill O'Reilly Calls Arianna Huffington a "Nazi" |

| No, Bill O'Reilly. Just no. | |

Looks like our favorite neocon fruit loop is at it again. Righteously indignant about a comment on The Huffington Post suggesting Nancy Reagan should go ahead and die in her tub (the comment was in response to a story on Reagan's recent fall), Bill O'Reilly declared that Arianna Huffington is no different than a Nazi or a KKK member. (It should be noted that Huffington, the co-founder and EIC of HuffPo, is not the author of the Reagan-targeted comment.)
Really, Bill? A Nazi? Yes, he so deftly reasoned, because they "both want people to die." Oh, Bill, you slay me. (Not like how the Nazis slew 6 million Jews, but in a funny way.)
Even Bill's O'Reilly Factor guest, treify conservative blogger Mary Katharine Ham, ended up defending Huffington, all the while seeming to quietly acknowledge that Billy boy had finally flipped his fucking lid. Click here to see the clip in all its unhinged glory:

ham
Ham is a proper conservative. I met her at the Blog Convention in Vegas and she's polite and fair in person as well. I'm glad she corrected O'Reilly of his stupidity. He's been making hay of blog comments section for way too long. First it was Daily Kos and now Huffington Post. I'm always happy to see bloggers stick up for each other across political boundaries.
I love how Ham said "OHMYGOSH I'm going to have to disagree with you!"
LOL
Thanks for sharing.

What?
Anonymous of 1:58 am,
"Isn't a neocon = jewish zionist?"
Wikipedia has articles on both neoconservatism and Zionism.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zionism
Some neocons support Israel as a Jewish homeland, others do not. Some Zionists are conservatives, neoconservatives, liberals, socialists, libertarians, and just about any other political bent. Shut up. Read more.

hmm neocon?
Lord knows I'm no fan of neoconservative politics, but it doesn't do the critique of neoconservatism any good to use it as a catch-all term without specific reference. O'Reilly is many distasteful things, but not a neocon.

Bill should not give Arianna
the exposure to begin with! Arianna is just a grenade throwing, gasbag opportunist! I think she's still bitter about her husband leaving her for another man.lol

I get tired
of people resorting to sexism and homophobia when they're too lazy to think of a worthwhile criticism of a public figure. I'm sure you can manage to dig up something more intelligent to say about Arianna Huffington; she's not exactly a difficult target.

The best part
was when a Jewish viewer wrote in to say that he lost his family to the
Nazis and was disgusted by the crappy comparison- O'Reilly actually
defended his drivel by saying that both the Nazis and Huffington
engaged in propaganda and that without propaganda the Nazis couldn't
have "murdered your family, sir."
Right, silly me. We all know the Nazis are most famous for hurtful
pamphlets and radio broadcasts. I know that's totally what I think of
when someone uses the term.
