"A headline last Sunday about a Muslim man and an Orthodox Jewish woman who are partners in two Dunkin’ Donuts stores described their religions incorrectly. The two faiths worship the same God — not different ones."
Am I just a complete asshole for disagreeing, or am I missing something? In theory they would have to be the "same" God (because there can only be one God). However, the reality is this: The God Jews pray to is not the God of Islam. The God Muslims pray to is not the God of Judaism. The same goes for the Gods of Christianity, Buddism, Hinduism, etc.
Maybe I just need another cup of coffee...
