Park Slope’s Congregation Beth Elohim was one of the winners of a $250,000 preservation grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express. The other grant winners are the Brooklyn Public Library, New York Botanical Gardens, and the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum in the Bronx.

Rabbi Andy Bachman told The Scroll’s Marc Tracy that the money would go towards ongoing restoration efforts.
