The current director of the Office of Management and Budget, Jack Lew, is reportedly set to take over as President Obama’s Chief of Staff for William Daley.  We like to imagine that Daley was simply keeping the seat warm for another Jew to take over after Rahm Emanuel stepped down to become the mayor of Chicago. And we also can’t help but think that it will be quite interesting to see what part Lew (an Orthodox Jew with strong ties to the community) will play in helping Obama with the 2012 Jewish vote that many see as one of his weak spots in the upcoming election.
