As Hanukkah happens to overlap with Christmas this year, you’re even more likely than usual to encounter animatronic ho-ho-ing Santas and nonstop "most wonderful time of the year" music when you try to do your holiday shopping. Luckily, those good folks over at Focus on the Family have provided a helpful list of which stores are doing the most Christmas-specific advertising. Granted, they made this list so that their "The Evil Media Has Declared War on Christmas!!1!" minions will know where to shop, but we can repurpose their list for our own needs, can’t we? Here’s the naughty and nice list courtesy of Mr. Dobson and co:

"Christmas-Friendly Retailers"

  • Cabela’s
  • Crate and Barrel
  • Dillard’s
  • Eddie Bauer
  • Kohl’s
  • L.L. Bean
  • Linens ‘n Things
  • Lowe’s
  • Macy’s
  • Neiman Marcus
  • Nordstrom’s
  • Pier 1 Imports
  • Sears
  • The Home Depot
  • Target
  • Wal-Mart

"Christmas-Offensive Retailers"

  • American Eagle
  • Banana Republic
  • Bloomingdale’s
  • Lane Bryant
  • Old Navy

Whew. It’s a good thing my mom really likes khakis.
