Just when you may have thought Shia LaBeouf ended his performance art (?) or lying (?) on Twitter, it just keeps coming. Throughout the past few weeks, LaBeouf has been exposed for plagiarizing in both of his books, and most ubiquitously, for reusing old apologies from public figures on Twitter.

Our favorite girl Lena Dunham took to Twitter to comment on the weirdness that is Shia LaBeouf’s recent history, saying:

“I’ve always felt, utterly and unchangeably, that only sociopaths hire skywriters.”

–Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) January 4th, 2014

Shia responded with a recycled apology from Lena *sooo funny* and some other tweet I can’t fully decipher (lean like Lena or lean like “lean back?”)

“I don’t mind creating debate with thoroughly considered artistic expressions but I don’t want to offend with a tweet. Sorry world.”

“Im addicted to lean & that shit ain’t no joke. I can barely remember all the things I’ve done & said. However there’s no excuse 4 skywriting”

–Shia LaBeouf (@campaignbook) January 4th, 2013

Lena retaliated and got a retweet from Shia (making this whole thing seem like even more of a joke to him):

“Vaguely recognized Shia Labeouf’s latest twitter apology and realized it was MINE! Touché, Louis Stevens.”

–Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) January 4th, 2014

It’s safe to say Ren Stevens wouldn’t be taking this ish.
