I don’t feel saying that One Ring Zero play nerd rock, and I don’t think they’d be angry about it either.  Any band that can boast getting Dave Eggers, Michael Chabon, Myla Goldberg, and Neil Gaiman to contribute lyrics to an album, earns the title without much competition. (See their album, As Smart As We Are)

The duo of Michael Hearst (who will be telling a story at our upcoming "Guilt" event) and Joshua Camp have upped the ante with their newest release Planets, a self-described mix of "1970′s progressive rock, with nods to Stravinsky, Mahler, and of course, Gustav Holst".
