  • In an attempted attack on a bus carrying the Queen of the Netherlands, a driver drove his speeding vehicle into the crowd at the royal parade, killing four in the crowd.
  • Vice President Joe Biden has recommended avoiding confined spaces, like planes, subways, and classrooms, in order to lower the risk of contracting swine flu.
  • Analysis of last year’s presidential election, released today, shows that there was no race gap and that for the first time ever, black women came out to vote more than any other racial, ethnic, or gender group.
  • As the Kenyan government nears collapse, women’s rights activists are using an interesting tool to get their men to work it out: sex. Or lack thereof. Kenyan women are going on a seven-day sex-ban in the hopes of strengthening the government.
