Tonight, when Gary Shteyngart takes the podium at 92YTribeca with his friends Amy Sohn and Joshua Lambert, it will be more than just a discussion about Jewish literature: it will be another great moment in Shteyngart’s longstanding love affair with food.

Sure, we know what you’re thinking: "who doesn’t love food?"  Of course, that’s a totally valid question, but we’d have to answer your question with another: "Who can score free meals better than Shteyngart?"  If you’ve ever had the opportunity to eat at 92YTribeca, you know they aren’t messing around.  Tonight’s spread will be no different.  92YTribeca’s head chef, Russell Moss, told me they plan to serve Lake Victoria perch, roasted butternut squash, roasted brussel sprouts, lentil salad, plenty of wine, and special cocktails that will keep the festivities a little more festive.
