I have a few regrets from my Bar Mitzvah.

We had a guy named "DJ Geek" officiating, who attempted to turn the popular hits of 1992-1993 into rap songs (his rendition of "Mr. Loverman" by Shabba Ranks was pretty moving) .  If I could do it all over again, I’d tell my dad to skip wasting the money on the giant cake in the shape of the Detroit Red Wings logo, don’t drop all that coin on the plastic championship rings given out to the guests, and consider hiring the great Irving Field to come and play his rendition of "Hava Nagila" instead of having DJ Geek attempt to rap it.  ("Today Jason’s a man ya’ll")

How did we get this video of the legend at work?  It was loaned to us by the fine people putting together the documentary "Hava Nagila, What Is It?," who you can donate to by clicking here
