Casting
I'd heard at one point that Adrian Brody and Jude Law were considered for the role of Joe. Can't quite see either of them pull it off, to be honest. Though Adam Brody would make a good Sam.
Kavalier and Clay
I am looking forward to the movie but cannot imagine it being better than the novel which was amazing. They'll have to edit a lot and will hopefully not screw it up too much.
How many wonderful books have become very average or weak films? Too many.

Michael Chabon
Michael Chabon, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for his Holocaust-era novel about two comic book-designing cousins in the Golden Age of Comics, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay also wrote scripts for X-Men and Spiderman 2.
Now they're getting ready to make a Kavalier and Clay movie. Anyone else as excited as me?
