Savor a sidesplitting program on Jewish cartoon characters with special guest Mike Reiss (The Simpsons, Queer Duck); get the scoop via bio-pics on fascinating and controversial Jewish champions, thinkers, and writers including Bobby Fischer, Simone Weil, and Sholem Aleichem; and get a taste of glamour as Kirk Douglas joins us to receive SFJF Freedom of Expression Award for his instrumental role in ending the Hollywood blacklist with Spartacus (presented with a 50^thanniversary screening at the Castro).
