Well, let's get one thing out of the way at the start:
COULTER: Do you know what Christianity is? We believe your religion [Judaism], but you have to obey.
DEUTSCH: No, no, no, but I mean --
COULTER: We have the fast-track program.
DEUTSCH: Why don't I put you with the head of Iran? I mean, come on. You can't believe that.
COULTER: The head of Iran is not a Christian.
DEUTSCH: No, but in fact, "Let's wipe Israel" --
COULTER: I don't know if you've been paying attention.
DEUTSCH: "Let's wipe Israel off the earth." I mean, what, no Jews?
COULTER: No, we think -- we just want Jews to be perfected, as they say.
DEUTSCH: Wow, you didn't really say that, did you?
COULTER: Yes. That is what Christianity is. We believe the Old Testament, but ours is more like Federal Express. You have to obey laws. We know we're all sinners --
DEUTSCH: In my old days, I would have argued -- when you say something absurd like that, there's no --
COULTER: What's absurd?
DEUTSCH: Jews are going to be perfected. I'm going to go off and try to perfect myself --
COULTER: Well, that's what the New Testament says.
"A drag queen impersonating a fascist" was Andrew Sullivan's line to describe Ann Coulter, whose last book Godless: The Church of Liberalism was released on the New Testament-friendly date 6/6/06.
In a way, there's a macabre allure to Coulter, who at least cuts through the cant and bullshit of most television commentary and gets right down to business. 9/11 widows? Marinating in their own grief. Elizabeth Edwards? A hulking shrew of a wannabe First Lady married to a "faggot."
She is rather like a Cabaret act gone awry: What's she going to say this time? is how viewers right and left approach the spindly Nordic mean girl, like so many embarrassed i-bankers getting lap dances at Lucky Cheng's.
Coulter famously advocated converting Muslims to Christianity after the attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center. This occurred in the pages of The National Review and promptly led to her sacking by Jonah "the Lionhearted" Goldberg. (Coulter might also be careful, lest her column be yanked from Jewish World Review, one of the only high-trafficked internet portals, along with Human Events, to continue to publish it.) And if you bother to read Godless, which I did, you'll find that she actually sympathizes with the Taliban when it comes to their method for dealing with queers: dropping walls on them.
Coulter is the anti-matter of sensationalism and she knows it. She could elope with John Walker Lindh in Vegas and bomb an abortion clinic on the way home and the public outrage would only ever register as the idiom of the brain-dead sitcom: "That's our Ann!"

As loathsome as Coulter is
As loathsome as Coulter is in every way possibly (umm especially intellectually) she, not unlike say Father Coughlin is perhaps more frightening and important precisely because of the attention she receives, the number of books she sells, and television appearances she regularly makes. As, in some small way, a reflection of a segment of our very own society. On one hand I wonder if it would be better to ignore her entirely; on the other hand I also think that ignoring her does give a certain level of placid acceptance.
Best case scenario would be for photos to surface of her in bed with a black-Jewish lesbian.

Ann Coulter
She is pretty loathsome but let's be fair. What she says about Jews being imperfect is totally in line with orthodox Christian teaching, at least until the Holocaust got those theological geniuses to think again. Christianity does believe that Jews are deficient and need Christ. So let Ann be Ann. A fascist Christian like all Christians are supposed to be.

Yashir Koach to Ann Coulter

The position goes both ways...
You can't say "we are all god's children" and then in the same breath blurt "but, we are the chosen ones".
It also somewhat in line with the Jewish lobby, or certain factions thereof, claiming that the Holocaust is a unique event requiring political recognition, opining that the Armenian genocide is not and all the while peddling Darfur and demonizing Iran. Somewhat of superiority complex, if you ask me.
What is the difference, Jewish rabbes are trying to propagandize for assimilation into judaism. And, if you don't believe assimilating goys and shikzas into the tribe is welcomed, you must be blogging from outerspace.
I mean if we aren't a christian nation, then why is the christian right such a big ticket item in this democracy?
Keep on dropping the bombtracks, Mr. Kurtzman - your last opinion piece on the ADL is spot on.
Ann Coulter is inflammatory, she's an idiot, but she's almost right. Racist? Who says? You are entitled to. But so was she. Two sides of the same coin. Chosen or perfected. And, Jews have the talent to spread monotheis? Puhleeze.
The chosen ones, the chosen ones for what making assholes out of all us?
Welcome to the Freakshow!
Joey Kurtzman

Just so you don't lash out at the poster above Joey as
a raging anti-semite. There is Jewish journalist that concurs with the poster's position. Of course, he's an anti-semite, too. Hey, maybe two. Jewish anti-semites, there everywhere. And so are idiot hatebaiters like Donny Deutsch and Foxman.

Now there's a piece of work. I first learned about him when he had a hissy fit over the fact that the new representative to congress from my district, being Muslim, planned to place his hand on the Koran, rather than the Bible, for the commerative photo of his swearing in. (The actual swearing in involves no book at all -- just the raising of the hand).
In an attempt to understand why he thought this was such a big deal, I went to his website, and there all was revealed. His purpose was to draw media attention so he could sell books, CD's, t-shirts, etc. and increase his radio audience.
It's no surprise to me that he defends Ann Coulter. They are cut from the same cloth.
I didn't bother to check out the second link. I figured it was more of the same.
