In light of the Paris/Britney crotch-flashing fest that has all the Us Weeklys asking "Are they on DRUGS?!" (because we all have doubts about that) I'd like to call attention to this unforgettable Britney video. My colleague, Jewcy's web developer Craig Leinoff, recalled seeing it on The Superficial back in August as we were discussing Fergie's pantswetting of '05. I figured Brit was fucked up, but this is kind of amazing.
But I must say I feel so bad for Britney's kids. Who the hell is raising them?! At this rate they'll probably be in rehab for crystal meth by age 9.

in defense of brit
"i feel like i'm missing out... on life."

I feel bad for Britney too
Elisa, I totally agree with you. I find it utterly sad that she has no life and no concept of what it's like to live a normal life. It IS heartbreaking. I cannot IMAGINE having no privacy, spending life hiding from photographers in hotels. I just want her to pull herself together. I want the Britney from the 'Slave for You' video back. She's such a mess right now and it makes me so sad...

Cry me a river
I for one don't feel one bit sorry for her. She has like, what, a kajillion dollars; she gets front-of-the-line VIP treatment wherever she goes; she'll likely never be homeless or hungry. Boo fucking hoo, Britney.
But yes, I do feel bad for her kids. It's not their fault they were born to a spoiled, cooter-flashing bimbo.

Shnnnuuuuufffff!!! Snerk! Snerk! Wha?
Britany Sp-- Is this conversation for real?
We're talking about someone who, given the inclination and presence of mind, could pick up the yellow pages, hire a brokerage firm, call a limo to the airport, disappear from public view completely and her CHILDREN could live to 102 on the interest payments.
Granted, he was still a theist, but another one of the things Anton LaVey got right is that compassion and empathy shouldn't be wasted on people who don't need them. I'm all for mocking the retards, and here we have a stunning example of two of nature's finest.
But there is absolutely nothing keeping them there except themselves.
Elisa
calm down.
cruelty originates in picking and chosing who/what deserves compassion and empathy.
Max Bell
True, I have a lousy sense of humor, BUT...
I'm generally pretty earnest, too.
Compassion and empathy for what? Not getting off the couch?
Can't do it. It's not the money or the lack of intellectual BTUs, it's that the circumstance is entirely of her own design and she could as easily slip out of it the same way she got there.

What a skank
To think I used to spill my Sprite over the "Hit Me, Baby" video. Yuck.
JewcyCraig
"Spill my Sprite"???
Please God tell me that's not a euphemism.
Michael Weiss
No, it's an Anthony Lane line
He spilled his Sprite (literally) over Julie Delpy in Before Sunset.

That, my friends, is what we call having too much cocaine in ones system. But I do have compassion for her.

Relax and Hide Out
I would love to spend a day with her and try to give her a relaxing day away
from all the bullshit. And Ive got just the place in the Virginia Mountains to hideout. I do it all the time. I went up to some friends house in the mountains and cut off my cell phone. Some my friends of course built it up to be some kind of fiasco(sp). People that were not my closest friends had me dead and gone in about 5 hours. My close friends new I was Just Fine. I'm
52 and I can't handle to much coke and crystal anymore, but I will bet that whoever bitched about her and her kids probanly does not have any. Isay to her Come down Get away from all the crap she has to deal with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
