But where do these insertions come from? Some saudi isn't just pulling these out of his ass. These insertions come from the classic tafaseer (exegesis), Ibn Kathir, Qurtubi, Tabari, and Bukhari ahadeeth, the recorded sayings of the Prophet himself! Even if you remove these "insertions", you can find there like in the pure arabic text.

Narrated ‘Adi bin Hâtim رضي الله عنه: I asked Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم , about the Statement of Allâh: 1. "not the way of those who earned Your Anger" he صلى الله عليه وسلم replied "They are the Jews". And 2. "nor of those who went astray" he صلى الله عليه وسلم replied: "The Christians, and they are the ones who went astray" [This Hadith is quoted by At-Tirmidhi and Abu Dâwûd ].

If Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم can't interpret the Qur'an, then Allah help us.

(note: it is said that jews are cursed because they know and do not act, while christians are astray because they act without knowledge) 

I wasn't aware of arab muslims needing a translation for a book in their own language! Modern Standard Arabic, fus-ha, that which is used to communitcate between all arabs regardless of regional dialect, is informed by Classical Arabic, Qur'anic Arabic, which the people readily understand, but you already knew that.

If you really want "Islamic Reform" instead of "Islamic revision" you could at least be honest with yourself, and the muslim tradition.
