Jesus and his first followers were Jewish. Jews have been finding Jesus for 2000 years. Does that mean that NONE of the conversions you mention are less than spiritual truth? No; many Jews have become convinced that Jesus WAS the Messiah prophecied in the Torah and by the prophets. Believing it, and receiving Jesus as Lord, obligates us to His service. For those whose background is public policy, it is only natural that they would seek to use their background in support of their new-found beliefs. To the extent that no one is being compelled to adhere or ascribe to any faith, this should cause no one any concern.
