Why not have both Iran and Israel completely purge their lands of all nuclear weaponry? There was a time when Israel may have had a strong justification for such weapons, as a matter of survival. But today, Israel is clearly the dominant military force in the Middle East - most certainly so in terms of advanced technology, air power, and ultra-lethal firepower - if not in absolute numbers of soldiers. And this doesn't even mention the nearly unqualified support Israel can count on from the vast American arsenal, and probably from various European powers too!

So, why should Treaty-signing, recently-peaceful, and relatively well-inspected Iran, give up all nuclear materials of any kind, while at the same time allowing militarily-aggressive, non-Treaty-signing, super-secretive, never-inspected Israel to retain (without so much as even officially acknowledging [except by mistake]) what is widely known to be one of the most sophisticated, highly-weaponized nuclear arsenals of any non-superpower nation in the whole world! - can this ultimatum now being put to Iran be the product of sane, literate adults?

Then again, for those who bought the Lebanese-border-guards-started-it excuse (like the 1940 Nazi Wehrmacht into Poland rationale?) for last years' brutal, barbarian assault on all parts of democratic Lebannon - the nuclear "offer" to Iran probably seems perfectly fair and reasonable too!
