I had no idea there was an Evan Lurie connection (which is also a Minnesota-Jewish connection for those of us keeping score).

 The traveling Backyardigans show has several Jewish members in the cast.  As someone without children, you might ask how I even know this.  We hosted them at our Seder in Minneapolis during a break in performances here, and it was great hearing a few of their road stories.

Aesthetics in children's TV programming aside....the Backyardigans are "good for the Jews."
