Fired?!

Interesting that you say "I'm sure that I would have been fired". You have no proof that you would, indeed, have been fired.
If you actually HAD been fired, that would be different, and important.
There are enough problems in the world re: stereotyping any group. If something didn't happen, then it didn't happen. Case closed.
