I am rather proud of the title "Marx of the anti-Semites"-- which, yes, I thought of. It's a take-off from a Richard Hofstadter essay on John Calhoun-- 'The Marx of the Master Class" --which I remembered from high school. (My memory isn't very good, but some things just stick). The idea is respectful disagreement which is what I thought Derb's piece conveyed.
And clearly it is MacDonald's intention to render anti-Semitism "scientific" as was it was Marx's for socialism. --Scott McConnell
