the frankfurt school

The author above writes: "...on the part of 20th-century Jewish-led intellectual movements like the Frankfurt School, to pathologize Gentile culture."

No but it wasn't Jewish-led. That was not the identifying label. "Hi, we're setting up a Jewish-led group called the Frankfurt School and we'd like to know if you'd like to be a charter member?" It was Marxist-led. Let's say a Jewish person is the head of a military platoon. Would you say that this is a "Jewish-led platoon"? The ethnic identity of the person leading the platoon isn't relevant, and indeed by focusing on this irrelevant fact, someone might be reasonably accused of anti-Semitism.

The Frankfurt School didn't pathologize Gentile culture. They criticized capitalist culture. Lots of Jews work in the capitalist culture industry; lots of gentiles are mere consumers of it.
