I decided to get involved on the Palestinian side of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict a few years ago.

One of the factors that influenced my decision was that the company I'd spent the previous 5 years working for had gone bankrupt, and my high-powered job was no more.

Had I had the job, there is a no doubt in my mind that pro-Israel Jews would have sought to have me fired the moment they discovered I was working with a pro Palestinian peace group.
