Confused

Doesn't Mr. Smith know that the comic book Iron Man is fresh from a successful defense of the super hero world's version of the Patriot Act, having crushed that America-hating liberal defeatist pussy Captain America and his army of dissenters? Shouldn't that make Iron Man, like, his hero or something?
