What future generations need is solid moral foundation

Many thanks for your insightful article. It was quite incisive, informative, and inspirational.

From my experience, I think the 3rd generation descendants are doing an admirable job, more than we give them credit for...Has it occurred to you that the 3Gs have the added burden of minding the moral store just a little better than the 2Gs?

The 3Gs understand that just barely toeing a careful line on other genocide questions is simply NOT good enough anymore. The 3Gs know that they have leaders who shamelessly deny other genocides and actively lobby on behalf of perpetrators for political gains.

The Jewish 3Gs are also better equipped to connect with the descendants of other genocide survivors, such as the Armenian 4Gs who are hankering for the same kind of justice. Finally, there are some Jewish 3Gs who are mindful of a handful of Armenian, genocide survivor centenarians who have on few occasions sat around in their wheelchairs outside ADL offices with the hope that Mr. Foxman will have the heart, the wisdom, and the courage to reverse his unjust position, perhaps, before they die.

I think, it is incumbent upon all of us to set the moral bar just a little bit higher this time. It is the only way to preserve the dignity and honor,to protect the name and memory, to appreciate the valor and sacrifice,to safeguard the legacy and respect of the Holocaust victims.
