Here are some questions we should be asking Senator Obama concerning Robert Malley, Senator Obama’s foreign policy adviser who has just left the campaign (5-9-08) after a British newspaper revealed that Mr. Malley had been meeting privately with Hamas representatives.

(1) How did Mr. Malley become involved in your campaign and what was his roll?

(2) Your relationship with Mr. Malley has been a matter of public controversy for several months. How did you respond to this controversy? Did you speak with Mr. Malley or inquire about his views and activities?

(3) Who do you consider to be your primary foreign policy advisers?

(4) Which of Mr. Malley’s views do you agree or disagree with? Could you explain your position on these issues? Under what circumstances is it acceptable for an American citizen to meet with Hamas representatives?
