Hitler redux

Your last two posts compare both Senators Clinton and McCain of being Hitleresque. Are you insinuating that our electing one of these two will bring American democracy (granted, a compromised democracy in the Bush II era) closer to fascism, lust for world domination, and genocidal tendencies? Or am I missing the tongue-in-cheek element of your hyperbole? Please help me understand. Thank you.
