Obama admitted that he had been present at some of these controversial speeches, a fact he had been denying. Secondly, it confirmed the extent to which Wright permeates Obama's life -- he is as much a part of his family as his grandmother.

Lastly, there is simply no comparison between Ferraro's comments and Wright'a conduct. Wright hates 80% of the U.S. and he spews insane delusionary conspiracy theories in order to perpetuate feelings of victimization in the black community.

Ferraro stated a fact which is not necessarily racist. First, would a white person with Obama's level of experience have any chance in this election? No...his name is John Edwards and he would have absolutely no chance whatsoever. Obama is where he is due to a unique set of circumstances that have culminated to allow him a shot at the White House.....Nothing racist about implying that his lack of experience has been supplanted by the fact that he is a highly intelligent black man at the right place and time. In fact, it says alot about how far America has come. America wants a black president so bad that it will allow an unvetted, untested, junior senator to be the front runner in the race for the White House.
