Obama is not MLK

Don’t be so naïve! He is of course right and wrong in his speech.  He is right in recognizing the anger, but is very wrong in then saying that it is different for the blacks in US.  We have to deal with all the same things that blacks deal but at a more sinister sublime level every day of our diaspora lives.  And yet for us the historical outcome in the face of much harsher challenges is far different then it is for African Americans at least to-date.  So no, I don’t think he says anything profound here, just like the rest of his speeches.  Much like the worthless rhetoric regarding abortion, I simply do not think that presidential election is the place to have this discussion.  Government = 1) strong education, 2) strong army, 3) low taxes.  The rest should be governed by the best thing in the world – American ingenuity and spirit! After all that and not the government is what has gotten us here.
