Come on...

Let"s see:

The Armenian organizations to these Jewish organizations:  Recognize the Armenian genocide -- or else...(we harrass, boycott, etc.)

Turkish government to these Jewish organizations:  Don't recognize the Armenian genocide -- or else...(Israel/ US/ Turkey relations will suffer, the Jewish community in Turkey may suffer)

There is no doubt that what happened to the Armenians during WWI was genocide, but the tactics on both sides of this issue towards AJCommittee, ADL, AIPAC, etc. are nothing short of blackmail.

Why are all of these Armenian organizations so focused on these Jewish groups?  The idea that they have such a profound influence I think plays into alot of negative stereotypes about Jews.  If anyone should be under pressure, it is the members of Congress, especially those who initially said that they would support the resolution this summer, and then for some reason changed their minds.

And to call any of these Jewish groups genocide DENIERS is completely false.  They are not denying what happened, only what it is called - and we know it's for political reasons.  The ADL came around sort of.  The AJC and others will too.
