Jon, thank you for talking about this. We don't have children yet but have already begun to feel that we need to be better Jews for our kids. This gets hammered home more and more as we've moved around the country.. often from one Jewish neighborhood to the next. (We lived around the corner from your Brookline for years.. over in Allston Village. Then back to Long Island. Then the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Then the Long Island of the Bay Area, Walnut Creek.)
